Roxy von Roust is a beautiful mid-size 3 year-old German Shepherd. Roxy discovered that farm life was not for her.  Now she’s at our rescue and is looking for a home where she can get what she really needs -- lots of love and attention.  Roxy is super sweet and fabulously friendly around people.  She loves getting out on walks and making new friends.  She doesn’t pull much on leash and, when her path crosses another friendly dog's, she meets them quite nicely.  At home, she would love to be your shadow.  She has a mid-energy level and chill demeanor. After a day of fun, she settles in nicely at night and will always be at your side ready to soak in some love.  She gets high marks when she’s around other dogs.  She enters canine playgroups confidently and she seems very comfortable in the company of dogs.  However, even in the play yard, she sticks close to her favorite people rather than join the scrum.  Once she says a nice hello to other dogs, she’s ready to get back to you. In her past life, Roxy did well with children.  She's looking for a home (no cats or livestock please) either near or far, where she can settle into a new life of love and learning with a family she can call her own.
